User has an invoice with incorrect information. While in the BillQuick > Invoice Review screen, it will not let the user make any changes. How to edit it?
Note: You can change the invoice number and date if the invoice has not been posted.
Any other changes to the invoice must result in the transaction being redone. One exception would be in the event of progress billing. Refer to the KB article about associating time or expense entries with an invoice that has been previously billed.
If there are any other changes that need to be made to the transaction, then it must be reversed and recreated. To do so:
1. Click on the "Reverse" button on the toolbar. If you do not have access to the Reverse button, then you don't have proper permission to edit invoices. This will put the invoice back in the Billing Review screen where you can make changes to the invoice.
2. When all changes are made, type the invoice number in the Invoice # field and change the date to the correct billing date.
3. Mark the item for 'Bill' and process it. The invoice is now ready for billing after the changes.
Note: It is recommended to make changes in the Sheet View and Expense Log screens prior to processing it in the Billing Review screen.
