User gets an error message on opening BillQuick:
"Could not load file or assembly ‘System.EnterpriseServices.Wrapper.dll’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
Copy File1 location to File 2 location. If it already exists, overwrite it. Make sure all other programs are closed before you continue.
If this solution doesn’t work, you’ll have to reinstall .NET Framework 2.0 on the computer. To do so:
- Open Add/Remove Programs under Control Panel and uninstall all versions of Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0.
- Next, uninstall BillQuick.
- Go to Update.Microsoft.com and download all the latest updates for your computer, .Net Framework 2.0 included.
- Then reinstall BillQuick.
This should resolve the issue. If this also does not resolve the error, you must repair the Microsoft .Net Framework. Refer to Microsoft knowledge base article #908077, which contains instructions on how to repair the .Net framework.
