When trying to run ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice on a 64-bit machine, user receives an error:
'HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.'
To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
1. Add ‘preCondition="bitness64"’ to the rpcproxy line in global module file applicationHost.config. By default this file is under C:\Windows\System32\Inetsrv\Config\
2. Open command prompt using Administration Mode and then run this command
%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe set config -section:system.webServer/httpCompression/-[name='xpress']
3. Make sure that you have given Network Service Account Read/Write permission to the Setting folder. By default it is under C:\Program Files\BQE Software\ArchiOffice 20xx\public\setting\
