User is trying to run a custom report from the Legacy View in BillQuick, but the date filters provided at the top of the report viewer do not seem to work.
This happens if you have not added the custom report to your Custom Report List before previewing it. The filters only work for the custom reports that are in your list. They do not work on those that you add to the Reports folder and then preview from the Legacy View.
Thus, for the filters to work, you need to add the custom report to the Custom Report List. To do so, follow these steps:
- On the Reports tab, open the Custom Report List screen.
- Enter a name for your report in Report Name and browse to the location of your report file in the Report File column.
- Optionally, you can modify the Group Name to change the grouping of the report in the Standard View. This does not affect the Legacy View.
The report is added to your Custom Report List and the filters should work now.
