In some scenarios, after upgrading Web Suite from a previous version, none of the users' passwords work, with the exception of the supervisor. However, if the same passwords are used in the previous version of Web Suite, the users can log in successfully.
You can resolve this issue by toggling the Web User check-box for the users. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in to the upgraded version of Web Suite as supervisor.
- Go to Settings > Manage Web Users.
- In the Manage Web Users screen, toggle the Web User check-box for the users by first un-checking it and clicking Save. Then check it and click Save again. You need to do this for all the users.
- Now try logging in as one of the users. You should be able to log in successfully.
Note: You can use these steps to resolve other issues too, e.g., if there is a discrepancy between Web Suite and BillQuick on the number of Web Suite licenses displayed or if you get the following error when trying to log in through the mobile app:
User or password not authorized / recognized.
