While BillQuick is open, if a user opens, closes or clicks any button where the application needs to reach the database to read or write to it, the following error is generated:
A user gets disconnected from the database due to various reasons like lost internet connection, restarting of server where database is stored, stopping and starting of service, lost VPN connection (if they use VPN), etc.
Close the BillQuick application and re-open it. Sometimes it won’t let you exit, in which case you need to use the Task Manager to end the BillQuick process. If you still can’t connect to the database upon reopening, contact your Database Administrator and verify whether the network or database connection is working properly.
