Unable to preview reports on Windows Server 2008 R2

A Web Suite user is not able to preview reports from the Report Center or when using the Admin options while changing the folder. This happens if Web Suite is installed on a server running on Windows Server 2008 R2 OS.

This issue occurs because of an error in the ASP.NET resource handler. To resolve this issue, apply a hot fix on the computer that hosts Web Suite.

  1. To apply this hot fix, you must have ASP.NET 4 installed. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hot fix.
  2. Confirm this change. This should fix the error.
